DIY Laundry Liquid

These DIY kits make 6l of laundry liquid, which works out to be about $5 a liter. Each liter should do approximately 20 loads of washing! That's only $0.25 per load! 

Our DIY laundry liquid kit is a great way to save yourself a few dollars, while also seeing how simple laundry liquid can really be! Keeping things clean and simple this kit has been trialled and tested over a few years, with reusable nappies, baby clothes, tough stains, everyday wear, grease, grim, blood and grass stains. It's washed it all and kept it fresh.

This kit will make 6ls of laundry liquid, which makes the price per litre competitive with commercial laundry detergents, while being cleaner and safer for our environment. 

Kit includes: 

Washing soda, baking soda, castile soap base and xanthan gum. 

Simply half fill a 10l bucket with warm water and add the dry ingredients, whisk. Then add the bottle of extra concentrated castile soap and mix again. 

Once cooled, add essential oil if desired and bottle into a recycled bottle. 

Use 1 to 2 Tbsp for everyday use, more for tough stains 

Can be applied directly to stains before washing for more affective stain removal.
